A partnership of states for environmental results

The States ERP Consortium was formed in 2006 as a partnership of state programs dedicated to promoting the Environmental Results Program (ERP). ERP is an integrated approach to advancing compliance that involves assistance, facility self-certification, regulatory inspections, and statistically-based performance assessment.

The primary goals of the States ERP Consortium are to:

While state and federal agencies have implemented ERP mostly with business sectors that have large numbers of small facilities; it is equally suited as a compliance assurance approach for larger facilities.
